We’re known for being fun, approachable, and easy to talk to, which helps our clients feel instantly at ease. We take the time to really listen to what you want, then work with you to create the perfect look that feels true to you. Our brides love how collaborative the process feels, and how comfortable and confident they are in our hands.

Organization is one of our superpowers—we’re quick to respond, clear with communication, and prepared for anything your wedding morning may throw our way. Hi, I’m Alyson—the face behind the emails, the one answering all your questions, and the person making sure every detail of your wedding morning runs smoothly. I wear many hats here at Emerald Beauty—makeup artist, hairstylist, social media specialist, educator, and team cheerleader—and I absolutely love it.

While I worked at places like Shoppers Drug Mart, MAC Cosmetics, and Blo Blow Dry Bar, I was also quietly building Emerald Beauty on the side. Those roles taught me valuable skills, but I always knew I was meant to be self-employed. In 2022, I officially incorporated Emerald Beauty, and in 2023, I opened our beautiful studio in downtown Oakville—two of my proudest milestones.

What started as a solo venture has now grown into an incredible team that shares the same values of care, fun, and trust. My speciality is natural, flawless makeup, but what matters most to me is that every client feels comfortable, listened to, and truly cared for.
